The death of Sidharth Shukla on September 2 was a huge shock to the whole entertainment industry. In Mumbai, the 40-year-old actor passed away on Thursday morning due to heart attack as the same was confirmed by the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. While everyone is still reeling after Sidharth’s untimely death, a number of celebrities have resorted to social media to pay tribute to the Dil Se Dil Tak actor. Sonia Rathee, Sidharth’s last co-star, has also given a touching tribute to the late actor on Instagram.
Taking to Instagram, Sonia wrote, “Still doesn’t feel real. I’ll miss our random conversations mid-shot, your infectious smile every time you walked into a room, your constant support and belief in me, and your ability to make a person’s day. You had a heart of gold and I had the pleasure of getting to know it. I will forever cherish the moments we got to spend together. I’m gonna miss you. You were an incredible human being and a true friend, you’ll forever be remembered”. Sidharth made his digital debut opposite Sonia in the much-discussed Broken But Beautiful 3, and their chemistry was loved by the viewers. While Sonia is still in shock over her co-star’s death, she described Sidharth as a true friend whom she will miss and that she will cherish all the moments they had together.
On Thursday evening, celebs such as Varun Dhawan, Gauahar Khan, and Maniesh Paul paid their respects to the late actor. His Bigg Boss co-contestants that is Shefali Jariwala, Arti Singh, Sambhavana Seth, and Rahul Mahajan also paid their last respect by visiting Sidharth Shukla’s residence. The actor’s funeral is taking place at Mumbai’s Oshiwara crematorium. Rita Shukla, Sidharth’s mother, and Shehnaaz Gill, the actor’s reported lover, have come at the crematorium for the actor’s final rites.
