Squid Game has taken over the world with its gruesome but interesting plot. It has been trending all over the world as new people and countries discovered the show and fell into its storyline. One of the sweetest characters shown in the Squid Game series is Abdul Ali (Player 199).
Viewers immediately fell for his charm and now, actor Anupam Tripathi has talked about his unforgettable role too. Ali was introduced to the show in the most caring way possible. In the first game, Ali saved the protagonist’s life by catching his mid-air and stopping his fall. Had he not done that, Gi Hun would have died.
In a recent interview with Netflix, Anupam spilt that while shooting, he accidentally grabbed Jung Jae too hard and this must have caused him pain. However, the senior actor was extremely kind and said, ‘Do what you want to do. Be comfortable.’ Anupam said, “When I grabbed Lee Jung Jae in ‘Red Light, Green Light,’ I think I grabbed him too hard. But he was very nice about it.”
He also said that it was this kindness of Jung Jae that made him more comfortable and happy in the set.
