“We are born into a world where everything is laid out by others before us,” explains Kulsum Shadab Wahab, Executive Director Hothur Foundation and creator Ara Lumiere. That universe no longer exists, and its separation rules no longer apply. Our manifesto of freedom and inclusiveness is called Vulnerable. We can create a world of compassion, love, and understanding by harnessing the power of ‘art’ and ‘equity.’”

Shabinaa Khan, a film producer, asks, “How many times have we second-guessed our choices based on our perceptions of ourselves? The titles we’ve been given limit our ability to express ourselves and live. We aim to celebrate uniqueness and make inclusiveness the norm through Vulnerable. I hope viewers enjoy the new era of liberty.”

Ara Lumiere is a film directed by Arsala Qureishi and Jas Sagu and produced by Kulsum Shadab Wahab, Founder, Hothur Foundation. It was presented by Shabinaa Khan and directed by Arsala Qureishi and Jas Sagu.
