ULLU recently dropped the first song from the much-awaited show ‘Tandoor’. The show starring Tanuj Virwani & Rashami Desai has anticipations from fans. To really look as the reel-life character Tanuj Virwani has put in a lot of effort. And finally, the actor succeeded in pulling this off!
Tandoor is inspired by a real-life incident that took place in Delhi. In 1995. A housewife was murdered by her suspicious husband in a restaurant’s fireplace (tandoor). Tanuj is known for his boyish look and sweet smile. The actor made considerable effort to look and act the part of a devious killer.
Tanuj states, “I am a person who loves being physically fit, working out. But this man was a politician, who lived a certain pompous lifestyle. I had to get rid of innocence and Polishness. Binging on chocolates, downing 3 cola cans a day made me quickly put on weight. Coupled with expert makeup I attained raw and wayward look.”
Tanuj is really happy that his team helped him look like the out-of-mind character.
“Tandoor” is directed by Nivedita Basu and co-produced by ULLU, Chandni Soni, and Chitra Vakil Sharma. The trailer of the show is releasing on 12th July 2021.
