&TV’s show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai is one among the foremost popular comedy shows of the tiny screen. The serial is successfully running on the tiny screens for six years now and has gathered an enormous fan following.
Each and each actor on the show has become a household name for his or her respective characters. Well, among the bunch of the talented actors, the viewers have loved veteran actor Kishore Bhanushali who is seen as Commissioner Resham Pal.
Kishore ji’s character is extremely funny and he’s doing total justice thereto . In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Kishore Ji opened on the show’s journey and also revealed interesting trivia.
He said, ”I had initially played alittle cameo of Anita’s uncle on the show. However, 15 days later, I got a call from the channel and that i thought i will be able to need to play the role of a Bihari so I prepped myself for it.”
He further added, ”When I went there, the creative team did my complete makeover by making me wear a fake beard and wig. They sent my pictures to the channel. However, they weren’t convinced with my look and asked for a few changes as they thought my look isn’t funny. The creative team made the changes and therefore the channel loved my final look. i used to be told that i will be playing a commissioner’s role. However, I wasn’t convinced as i assumed I wasn’t apt to play a commissioner. But the channel said this is often the role I’ll need to play.”
He continued, ”I was finding it extremely weird playing this character within the initial days. However, as time gone by , I started liking my character. I got an honest response from the fans.”Kishore Ji has been within the showbiz world for several years now and has managed to make a reputation for himself.
He features a likeness to late Bollywood actor Dev Anand and is usually seen mimicking him.
