The character of Thakur Sajjan Singh was essayed by Anupam Shyam. Pratigya’s fight against the society norms and Krishna standing in her support as the story went by garnered attention.

According to reports published, the show is returning with a season 2, but then not on Star Plus but on Star Bharat.
Moreover reports coming in also suggest that talks are on for the show with the original cast, Pooja Gor, Arhaan Behl and even Anupam Shyam has been approached.
Furthermore reports say, Rajan Shahi is going to produce the season 2 of the show and Pearl Grey will be the creative producer.
Currently Rajan Shahi’s two shows (Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are topping the TRP charts).
