Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, is all set to marry Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist, Viren Merchant.
The wedding is to happen in July, but a three-day pre-wedding bash will be held in Jamnagar from the 1st till the 3rd March. A nine-page event guide and wardrobe plan including a mood board, has been sent to the guests for a sneak peek of the festivities that are to kick in.
For the chartered flight arrangements, it says, “In order to accommodate everyone’s luggage, we ask you to pack consciously, with one item of hand luggage and one piece of hold luggage per person, or total of three suitcases per couple,” and the guide further suggests, “If you bring more luggage, we cannot guarantee it will arrive on the same flight as you, but we will do our best to bring it at the earliest.”
As for the theme parties, DAY 1–“AN EVENING IN EVERLAND”, with the dress code as elegant cocktail. DAY 2, will have two events, firstly, ‘A walk on the wild side’, with the dress code as jungle fever, where the guests are to be comfortably dressed. The second event is the ‘Mela Rouge’, and the attire for this is dazzling desi romance/ the traditional.
The final day, will again have two events, first one, “Tusker Trails”, as the guests explore the lush environment of Jamnagar and the final party, is “Hashtakshar”, which is the elegant heritage Indian wear.
Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities began with the ‘Lagan Lakhvanu’ ceremony on the 16th February.
1000 guests have been invited for the event, including Bill Gates and Melinda Gates.
“Threads of Love and Heritage”- a tapestry women for Anant and Radhika’s celebrations, where in skilled women from Kachchh and Lalpur have been commissioned to weave a tapestry of dreams for the upcoming ceremony.
