South Indian Actress Samantha Akkineni recently made her Hindi debut in crime series ‘The Family Man’. The actress played the role of Rajalakshmi Sekaran aka Raji a rebel from Sri Lanka. The actress gained immense of appreciation and love from the audience for her outstanding performance in the series. Therefore the audience wants to see her in many more upcoming Web Series.
The latest report state that the actress won’t be approaching in any Web series as the actress has many forthcoming projects on her way. A source close to the actress told media that won’t be seen in any Web Series from now on. The Source Quoted stating, “Right now she is off the media and just chilling at home with her husband Nag Chaitanya and his family. There are no plans of doing another web series anytime shortly. Sam agreed to do “The Family Man” because of co-directors Raj Nidimoru and DK’s persuasive powers and because she had wanted to play the bad girl for the longest.”
Additionally she stated that “Not for a while, and then only if it’s something as challenging as The Family Man.” Before this Web Series Actress Samantha was already popular in the Telugu and Tamil industry for her outstanding performance in movies like U-Turn, Super Deluxe and Oh! Baby.
The actress will be further see in the upcoming Tamil feature film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal that stars Vijay Sethupathi and Shaakuntalam where she plays the mythological Shakuntala.
