The launch of A Business Proposal, a new K-drama series, has been put back a week.
The show’s production team revealed today (February 9) that the debut of A Business Proposal has been put back by a week, citing tougher COVID-19 rules on the set as the reason for the delay. The show’s launch date has been pushed back to February 28.
“Due to COVID-19, we have decided to inevitably postpone the first broadcast of A Business Proposal for a week in order to adjust the filming schedule and provide a safe working environment,” the official explained. “The first broadcast date has been rescheduled from February 21 to February 28.” “We appeal for the viewers’ patience as we wait for A Business Proposal.”
A Business Proposal is an office rom-com TV series based on Hae Hwa’s web novel ‘The Office Blind Date.’ It follows ordinary office worker Shin Ha-ri (played by former Gugudan member Kim Se-jeong), who finds herself on a blind date with Kang Tae-moo (played by Dr. Romantic 2’s Ahn Hyo-seop), the CEO of the company she works for.
Kim Min-kyu from Queen: Love and War, Seol In-ah from Strong Girl Bong-soon, and VICTON member Byungchan also feature in the drama. A Business Proposal will be shown on SBS and, in some locations, Netflix.
In other K-drama news, Netflix just ranked All of Us Are Dead as the sixth most popular non-English language series of all time. According to Netflix, since its January 28 release, All of Us Are Dead has racked up 361 million hours of viewing time.
