The members of the K-Pop group BTS, which includes RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, are noted for their ability to do intricate choreography with ease. Dancing, on the other hand, hasn’t always been simple for RM and Jin, as they’ve said in several interviews. Mastering the harder steps, in particular, has been a challenge for Jin, and he has been chastised for it in the early years.
RM stated in 2020, during a talk about their album Map of The Soul 7, that this was the longest they had practised and that it will be their “biggest return” yet. “I’m not as excellent at learning the movements, compared to others,” Jin replied when asked about dancing practise. Hearing this, the rest of the gang were enraged and immediately defended him, notably V. “You’re a wonderful person; don’t say stuff like that.” “We know the best, since we’re there,” Jimin interjected. “My talents may be a little less…” Jin said. “You’ve always been good,” one of the members commented. Jin had to tell V quickly not to be upset.
“I practised before the others came so I wouldn’t fall behind,” Jin said. “I heard you practised while bathing too?” J-Hope said as the others cheered and applauded. “Yes, in the shower,” Jin explained. Because it’s risky to fall, I may have harmed my skull.” Jin demonstrated a couple movements when RM requested one, and the rest of the group applauded him.
Members of Big Hit performed a ‘balancing game’ in another conversation before the 2021 New Year’s Eve Live Concert. BTS were asked a variety of fascinating and imaginative questions, such as which shoe would make them the best dancer on the planet. Jin claimed that his dancing routines were more like body motions, while the rest of the septet had amusing and inventive responses. “From my perspective,” V said, “that’s OK since Jin gives it his all.”
