Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon have finally wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film, Bhediya. The shoot for horror-comedy began amid the novel coronavirus pandemic in Arunachal Pradesh and now, after months of hard work, the actors have called it a wrap of the film. Both the actors announced the same today on their respective social media handles.
Taking to Instagram handle, Varun penned a heartfelt note for the entire cast and crew including Kriti Sanon, director Amar Kaushik, and producer Dinesh Vijan. n his note, the actor wrote, “It’s a film wrap for team #Bhediya! What an extraordinary journey this has been working with some amazing people and teaming up with Dino after Badlapur and super talented @amarkaushik. @kritisanon u ma boo and @nowitsabhi will miss our chats in the van before every scene love u @paalinkabak surprise package thank u. Releasing in theatres on 14th April 2022.”
On the other hand, Kriti also took to her Instagram handler and shared a video announcing the wrap of the film, Bhediya, and thanked co-star Varun for being a ‘crazy entertainer’ during the shoot.
“It’s a film wrap for team #Bhediya! Releasing in theatres on 14th April 2022. My First Horror Comedy! Been such a fun journey!!!@amarkaushik thank you for giving me such a memorable character, your energy made it all happen!! As you say.. Bhediya’s first schedule was shot in Arunachal Pradesh and the second schedule in Mumbai following all the covid-19 guidelines. During the shooting of the film, Varun’s wife Natasha Dalal was also present in Arunachal Pradesh. The actor shared several pictures with her while spending time off from the shoot. Earlier, when Kriti had wrapped the Ziro schedule, Varun had shared a special note for his co-star on social media. “Kya lagti hain hai Raaba Bahut maaza ayaa apka saath @kritisanon #wolfpack. It’s a sched wrap for Kriti on #BHEDIYA as we say bye to ziro. Will miss you both, ” the actor wrote.
Apart from Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee & Deepak Dobriyal are also a part of the horror-comedy. It is helmed by Amar Kaushik and backed by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios. The film is set to release on April 14, 2022.
