Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, has been sweeping the box office!
The film has grossed a lot of money since its release on Friday, and it is the third-highest Kollywood grosser of 2022, after Beast and Valimai.
Vikram reportedly made Rs. 200 crores via pre-release OTT and satellite rights sales before the film’s theatrical debut.

While the bidding for Vikram’s OTT rights began far before the film’s premiere, Disney+ Hotstar declared last month that it had obtained them. Disney+ Hotstar Tamil’s official social media accounts announced the news on May 4.
Furthermore, the film will be available in many languages, including Tamil (original) and Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi dubbed versions.
According to sources, Vikram’s OTT streaming rights were acquired to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs. 98 crores during the pre-release business. The satellite rights were purchased by Vijay TV.
Through the sale of satellite and over-the-top (OTT) rights, the film is said to have generated over Rs. 200 crores.
Though there is no official word on when Vikram will appear on OTT or on TV, it is expected to air in July on Disney+ Hotstar.
In Vikram, Haasan portrays Arun Kumar, a former R&AW agent, against Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the adversary. Fahadh Faasil also has a big part in the film. Suriya makes a five-minute cameo appearance in the Lokesh Kanagaraj directed film.
In addition to Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie Shankar, and Antony Varghese, the film stars Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie Shankar, and Antony Varghese.
The film Vikram is presently in cinemas.
