Actor Sonu Sood was named the brand ambassador of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘Desh Ke Mentor’ initiative on Friday. Sonu met with Kejriwal in New Delhi a day after the Aam Aadmi Party chief announced that his administration would soon implement “the most progressive” film policy in India. According to reports, those with professional experience will be encouraged to mentor children in Delhi government schools as part of the initiative. As soon as they met up the photos went viral on social media.

Sonu Sood and CM Arvind Kejriwal can be seen in the photos discussing the issues at hand. The following reports states that the Delhi CM praised Sonu Sood for his philanthropic work for the people of the country, and named him the brand ambassador of his government’s initiative. According to reports, the project will begin in mid-September, and children’s from Delhi government schools will be mentored by experts in several professions.

AAP took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “@SonuSood has been appointed as the brand ambassador of @ArvindKejriwal govt’s #DeshKeMentor program! “Today, I have been given an opportunity to mentor lakhs of students. There is no greater service than guiding students. I am sure together we can & we will” – Sonu Sood.”

The fans could not keep calm as soon as the news and photos surfaced on the internet. The fans felt great about the new initiative by AAP, and Sonu Sood being the part of it. A fan mentioned, “Good move, kids will certainly get positive vibes from Sonu Sood.” While the other fan wrote, “Awesome!!!!!!!”

Apart from Sonu and CM Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was also present at the meeting on Friday. Raghav Chadha, an AAP legislator, and Karan Gilhotra, the founder of Plaksha University and a friend of Sood, were also present. Amid the pandemic, Sonu Sood have been in news as he helped many people and took many initiatives for the welfare of people across the country.
