Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay was declared brain-dead by doctors today, June 14. Sanchari met with an accident on Saturday, June 12 while returning from a friend’s place from his motorbike. The actor’s sustained condition was critical and he was hospitalized at Apollo Hospital in Bangalore. The 38-year-old actor was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). His family has declared that they will donate his organs.
Arun Nayak, a health care specialist earlier addressed the news channel stating, “The health condition of Sanchari Vijay is very critical. As he has a blood clot in the brain, we have performed surgery, the next 48 hours is going to be critical.”
“Very very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last. Met him a couple of times just before this lockdown. .. all excited about his next film… tats due for release. Very sad. Deepest condolences to his family and friends. RIP”, Sudeep tweeted on social media.
Sanchari Vijay made his debut in 2011 with ‘Rangappa Hogbitna’. He rose to fame for his performance in the film ‘Naanu Avanalla Avalu’ and was also seen in films like ‘Dasavala’, ‘Harivu’, ‘Oggarane’, ‘Killing Veerappan’, ‘Varthamana’, ‘Sipaayi’ among others. He was last seen in the film ‘ACT 1978’ which was released last year.
