Tamil superstar Dhanush is celebrating his mother Vijayalakshmi ‘s birthday on Wednesday (April 14). The actor took to his Instagram handle to share a picture with his mother and penned a heartfelt note for his mother on the occasion of her birthday.
He wrote, “Happy Birthday my goddess my mother. It’s because of your unconditional love and prayers I have come so far. Long live my Goddess. Can never do anything to repay for what you have endured for the family. I will keep working on myself to be a better son and to make you proud and happy. I love you to the moon and back (dropped heart emojis).”
On the work front, Dhanush was recently seen in action drama film ‘Karnan’. The film got released on april 9 and received overwhelming response from the critics and fans.
The film is directed by Mari Selvaraj and is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his banner V Creations. The film also features Lal Paul, Natarajan subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Rajisha Vijayan, Gouri G. Kishan, G.M. Kumar and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli. The film was able to collect Rs 63 crore at the box office in just three days.
