Actor Sundeep Kishan is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Gully Rowdy, helmed by G Nageshwar Reddy. The actor took to social media to confirm that his film, Gully Rowdy will release in theatres. The film, Gully Rowdy is a fun masala entertainer also featuring Neha Shetty as the female lead, produced by Kona Venkat.
Recently, there were rumors stating that Gully Rowdy might release on the OTT platform. To clarify, Sundeep Kishan took to Twitter putting an end to rumors, he said that they will wait for theatres to reopen and announce the release date of the film soon. His tweet read, “#GullyRowdy is a Fun Masala Entertainer meant for the theatres. We know these are uncertain times but as a team stand by the theatres’ owners & wait for the right release date. Thank You @konavenkat99 guru for always being so supportive & gutsy. Peace to Rumour Mongers.”

The teaser went viral on social media. In the film, Sundeep Kishan plays Simha, while Neha is paired opposite him. The teaser shows Simha punching the rowdies.

Gully Rowdy was slated to release in theatres on May 21. The film’s release got postponed due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The new release date of the film will be announced soon.
