Right now, Sidharth Malhotra has every reason to be ecstatic. Following the success of his most recent film, Shershaah, the actor is working on his digital debut. Sidharth has reportedly linked up for the first time with Rohit Shetty, and the actor-director combination is now working on an interesting cop drama for the OTT platform, according to insiders. While fans have been waiting for Sidharth’s over-the-top debut, new rumors claim that the actor will begin filming for the movie.

Meanwhile, Rohit is collaborating with Ranveer Singh on Cirkus. The film is a comedy-drama in which Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma play pivotal parts.

Rohit and his crew have been working on the script nonstop since the release of Sooryavanshi. He aims to portray the series in a way that appeals to a worldwide audience as the showrunner.” According to the rumors, Sidharth will appear in the series; however, no official confirmation has been issued.

This will be the first time Malhotra has played a cop on the big screen. Sushwanth Prakash, Rohit’s associate director, is believed to be directing the programme. The eight-episode series will apparently be available on Amazon Prime Video.

According to media sources, the production crew has closed off a section of the Golden Tobacco plant in Vile Parle for the shot. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty, who has been working on his OTT debut for some time, wants his cop drama to represent his unique approach. The online series, which will be directed by newbie filmmaker Sushwanth Prakash and shot around Mumbai, would be interesting to see. “Rohit and his crew have been working diligently on the script since the release of Sooryavanshi,” a source from the production team informed Mid-Day. He wanted his distinctive aesthetic to reflect in the cop caper since the OTT world is full with cop dramas.
