Paresh Rawal tested COVID-19 positive, Despite taking first dose of Vaccine

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal  has been tested positive COVID-19 positive on Friday even after being vaccinated. 

The actor took twitter and wrote, “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested”.

Earlier this month, the 65-year-old actor informed that he had received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.  The actor shared the news on twitter sharing a picture. “V for vaccines.! Thanks to All the doctors and nurses and the front line health care workers and the scientists. Thanks @narendramodi” Paresh Rawal tweeted. 

Swaroop Rawal, wife of actor Paresh Rawal had also received the first dose of the vaccination. 

Talking about the work front, the actor was last seen in the movie Coolie No.1 also starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan which got released on OTT platform. He will be next seen in Hungama 2 which is set to release later this year. The film is also starring Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Meezaan Jaaferi and Pranitha Subhash and is directed by Priyadarshan, Produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain and Armann Ventures.

Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas has now stepped in the hospitality industry. The actress in collaboration with restaurateur Maneesh Goyal, has opened fine dining restaurant ‘Sona’ on the streets of New York, serving Indian cuisine. 

Adding another feather in her cap- Priyanka Chopra gave a glimpse to her newly launched restaurant. The décor of the restaurant is amalgamation of contemporary and rustic design with hues of gold, black and white.  Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a few pictures of ambience and food, she wrote, “Today is opening day @sonanewyork!”.

Priyanka’s business partner, Maneesh Goyal also took to Instagram and shared a small fine dining tour of the newly launched space and can be heard saying, “Welcome to Sona…. This is Sona, I am so thrilled to welcome you in”. 

 Inside the restaurant there is also a private dining area where 8 to 30 guests can accommodate. The private space name is kept as Priyanka’s nickname and is called ‘Mimi’s. The restaurant will also showcase modern and contemporary artwork from Indian artists.

Talking about the food on the menu at Sona, Head Chef Hari included Nick Jonas favourite Gajar Halwa in the menu. Few other dishes which will be served in the restaurant are mango passion sorbet, sona chocolate gateaux, aged cheddar dosa, coconut chutney, golgappa shots, buckwheat bhel and butter chicken.

The actor and Super Model who is known for his fitness and Physique,  Milind Soman has been tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation. The actor is following the guidelines and is quarantined and in touch with doctors as well. 

Taking to twitter the actor shared the news and wrote “Tested positive. #Quarantine”.

Ankita Konwar took her Instagram and shared a picture with husband Milind and wrote, “Nothing else matters”.   The couple got married in April 2018.  

The 55 year old Milind Soman was last seen in ALTBalaji’s period drama Paurashpur. He was also seen in Amazon Prime’s web show Four More Shots Please and in films like Chef and Bajirao Mastani. Milind has produced Hindi film Rules: Pyaar ka Superhit formula in 2003. 

In recent times, the list of actors testing positive with the virus is just increasing everyday. The Bollywood actors like, R Madhavan, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Ramesh Taurani have been tested COVID-19 positive and are in quarantine.

Dabbang actress, Sonakshi Sinha  shared a throwback picture on her Instagram from her vacation from Maldives and captions it as, “Take me back”.

The actress went to Maldives in November 2020 and expressed her desire to go back to the exotic location again. In the picture, Sonakshi can be seen wearing black bikini top and enjoying a drink with some food in the pool during the sunset.

Earlier, Sonakshi Sinha gave a glimpse from her vacation from the picturesque location. She traveled with her close friends and shared stunning pictures from the location enjoying the sun, sand and sea.

During her trip, the actress also learned scuba diving and became a licensed scuba diver. Sharing this news on Instagram, the actress wrote, “Knighted by the holy fins!! I am now licensed scuba diver… something I have been wanting to do for years, and finally got down to it! My love for the ocean has just grown ever since my first snorkel experience and this is taking it to a whole new level… Thank you @oceanicworldmaldives for giving me my super strict and super cool instructor Mohammed, I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher (I mean this is the first time I have scored 100% in any exam) and thanks @grandparkkodhipparu @kapilmathur1985”.

Talking about her work front, Sonakshi will be seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India, also starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and NoRA Fatehi.

Actor Sanya Malhotra starrer ‘Pagglait’ released on Netflix on Friday (March 26). The movie before its release has been released on various piracy websites. 

After the theatres releases, now the films and TV shows on OTT platform have also become the targets of the piracy websites. This is not the first time that the piracy website leaked a film or a series.

Despite the several actions taken against piracy sites, the team behind the site appears with a new domain every time and runs the pirated version of the movies.

‘Pagglait’ is a story of a young widow who recently lost her husband. But even after that she tries to build her identity which gives rise to some hilarious events as her family members are trying to control her. “When women become wise, the world calls them mad”, is one of her dialogues from the movie.  

Talking about the movie, Sanya previously said, “So thrilled to announce this film which is very close to my heart on my special day. I essay the role of Sandhya, a character very different from what I have previously portrayed on-screen. My Pagglait journey was Pagglait indeed- and I can’t wait for the world to witness this unique story very soon.”

The movie is directed and written by Umesh Bist and also features Sayani Gupta, Ashutosh Rana and Aasif Khan.

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has gifted a brand new car to his wife Sunita Kapoor as a birthday gift on her 56th birthday.

As Sunita Kapoor celebrated her birthday on March 25, her husband and actor Anil Kapoor gifted a  black Mercedes-Benz GLS worth Rs 1 crore. The paparazzi snapped the pictures outside the actor’s home at their new car. 

On the special day, the AK vs AK actor shared a multiple pictures on his Instagram account and wrote a sweet message remembering his old days with his wife, “To the love of my life, @kapoor.sunita , from travelling in third class train compartments to local buses to rickshaws to kali peeli taxis, from flying economy to business to first class, from roughing it out in small dingy hotels in villages like Karaikudi down south to staying in a tent in Leh Ladakh… We have done it all with a smile on our faces and love in our hearts. These are just some of the million reasons I love you”.

The actor further wrote, “You are the reason behind my smile and you are why our journey together behind my smile and you are why our journey together has been so happy and fulfilled. In a recent interview, Mira Rajput Kapoor was acing summer look style in a duotone shirt. She was seen wearing a chic pink and red contrasting full–sleeved shirt with cutout details on the sides and paired it with blue color pants.

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is ‘super proud’ of her cousin sister and actor Parineeti Chopra for her movie ‘Saina’.  

Taking to twitter on Thursday, Parineeti Chopra tweeted ‘Please support us tomorrow’ as the movie ‘Saina’ is ready to hit theaters on March 26. Replying to her tweet, global icon Priyanka tweeted, “Super proud @ParineetiChopra cannot wait to watch!!”.

The trailer of the film came out on International Women’s Day. Badminton player Saina Nehwal has also shared the teaser and poster on her Instagram account. Sharing the treaser, the ace shuttler wrote, “I am so glad to share a glimpse of my upcoming movie, #Saina. Lots of love to the entire team. In cinemas on 26th March”. In one of lookin which Parineeti can be seen as younger Saina Nehwal, Saina wrote, “Wowww… mini saina.. love the look… @parineetichopra #sainanehwal #sainamovie… Saina Movie”. 

The movie Saina is a biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal . The film is directed and written by Amole Gupte and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jayraj and Rajesh Shah. The film also features Paresh Rawal, Manav Kaul, Meghna Malik, Shubraojyoti Barat to name a few.

The King Kong and the Giant Godzilla have spun their magic in the Indian Box office. The Titans have ensured that the audiences have come in large numbers to celebrate the spectacle in the big screen. The opening day figures of 6.4 crore collection is perhaps the highest for a Hollywood or a Bollywood release post the pandemic. The trailer of the movie had also garnered a huge expectations leading to such high footfalls

The movie is being celebrated across the multiplex and singe screens and was being touted as the “Clash of the Titans” leading to an overwhelming response by the theatre going audience. Both Kong and Godzilla are being welcomed with whistles and claps by the movie goers. The craze is akin to what one witnessed during the release of South Superstar Vijay’s movie Master with the crowd going ballistic in the action and confrontation scenes.

“Visually powerful”, “Spell binding action”, “Fantastic VFX”, “Kong is King”, “phenomenal and crafty screenplay” were some of the one word reviews coming out. The positive word of mouth along with the thunderous mid-week opening is surely going to work wonders for this movie. Warner Bros India could well be looking at a 100 Cr gross for this spectacular action feast say the trade pundits.

“The power of content, compelling visuals and a successful franchisee is surely bringing in the audience into the theatre despite the gloom and havoc around. This celebration will continue forever and hence the small screen cannot be a substitute to these festivities”, remarked the owner of a leading Multiscreen complex in Chennai. “Our audiences went ballistic during the action blocks and the response can be compared to any Superstar movies in India- In fact we have two superstars in this movie”

“The joy of watching the epic clash in a big screen is an experience which one is willing to risk despite the perils of the pandemic. John Abraham and Disha Patani shoot for ‘Ek Villain Returns’ in Mumbai

Bollywood actors John Abraham and Disha Patani will be seen in upcoming romantic psychological thriller, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ and amid the rising cases of COVID-19 across the city the duo chose to shoot for their upcoming movie.

The duo was clicked by paparazzi in Bandra, Mumbai on Thursday; John was seen wearing a dark color shirt over a white t-shirt paired with denims while Disha was spotted wearing black top and pants. Earlier, the duo was spotted in the city for the day time shoot. As per the reports, one of the shoots got cancelled in slum areas as the team was shooting without proper precautions of COVID-19 virus.

The film is directed by Mohit Suri and is jointly produced by T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures. The film is a sequel of ‘Ek Villain’ which was released in 2014.

The film also features Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. Mohit Suri announced that the film will be released on 11 February 2022. 

John Abraham was last seen in ‘Pagalpanti’ in 2019 and will return to the big screen this year with ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’. Meanwhile, Disha Patani will be seen in ‘Radhe: Your most wanted Bhai’ and ‘Baaghi 3’.
