On Irrfan Khan’s first death anniversary today, April 29, his son Babil Khan remembered him and penned a heartfelt note on his social media account. Irrfan Khan passed away last year after fighting a long battle with neuroendocrine tumor.

Babil took his Instagram account and penned a heartfelt note remembering the legacy of his father. He wrote, “Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has been concluded by my baba himself. A full stop.”

He further added about his bond with his father and wrote, “Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to. To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have. I love you so much, for the rest of this chaos we are choosing to call life.”

Later he concluded his post by mentioning, “I miss you, more than all that shah-Jahan/Mumtaz stuff, I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a blackhole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries).”

The world of sensations and clear unburdened mind.”

The nutrients that we get from plant sources like fruits, vegetables etc is very important for a strong immune system. They are said to contain antibacterial and antiviral properties.

Long term stress can lead to increased cortisol levels. When we have a high amount of cortisol present in our body, it essentially blocks the immune system from fighting off the disease causing microorganisms like viruses and bacteria.

  1. Get enough sleep

For your body to have a healthy immune response, you need good quality sleep as well. Your body regenerates and heals some cells while you sleep. The body distributes and produces a key immune cell like cytokine and when you are sleep deprived, your body is unable to do so. Adults need at least 7 hours of sleep to function healthily.

  1. Exercise regularly

Regular exercise lowers our risk of developing chronic diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes etc. It also helps the body to avoid viral and bacterial infections. Thus, it is very important to exercise regularly.
