The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the hit shows of the Telly world. The comedy show will soon be graced by Bollywood veteran actress Neetu Kapoor and her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

On Monday, the mother-daughter duo took to their respective Instagram handles to share the happy news with fans and followers. Neetu Kapoor posted a bunch of pictures featuring herself, Riddhima, host Kapil Sharma, and Archana Puran Singh on the set.
Sharing the photos, Neetu wrote that she is excited to appear on TKSS with her daughter Riddhima. The caption read, “Always so much fun with @kapilsharma and this time with my daughter @riddhimakapoorsahniofficial making it more fun and exciting. Stay tuned for this joy ride @sonytvofficial #TheKapilSharmaShow”.

Riddhima too posted pictures from the set. She looked stunning in an emerald green jumpsuit with matching accessories. Captioning her picture, she wrote,” Take time to make your soul happy…Had one of the most amazing (laughter) filled evenings yesterday at @kapilsharmashow with mom @neetu54 #staytuned #thekapilsharmashow @sonytvofficial”.

In the previous episode, The Kapil Sharma Show featured yesteryear actors, Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha.

Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor will soon be seen in Raj Mehta’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film will also star Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

Today, on August 30, Indians are celebrating the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. Despite the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the zeal and zest to celebrate this festival is still intact. Even celebrities are celebrating this day but virtually. Talking about the same, small screen actors including Suyyash Rai and Mohit Malik who recently embraced fatherhood took to their social media accounts to celebrate the festival by sharing some adorable pictures of their newborns.

Suyyash Rai embraced fatherhood on Friday, (August 27) as he welcomed a baby boy with his actress wife Kishwer Merchant. Sharing an adorable picture of his kanhaiya, the Telly actor wrote, “Our KANHAIYA is home today on Janmashtmi you guys have given sooooo much love already thank you, everyone, from the bottom of our hearts we’ve not been able to answer calls and reply to messages but trust me we’ve read all the messages and comments all I can say, is we’re overwhelmed with all the love and blessings #Sukishkababy #babyrai”

Earlier, Kishwer posted a picture with his newborn from the hospital. “My Bugs Bunny I know there have been a lot of problems… I haven’t been the best, with the C section, pain killers, tiredness, anxiety, and breastfeeding .. but like we promised each other today, we both will help each other in this journey and make things better for us, love you my son #sukishkababy,” she added.

Mohit Malik, on the other hand, who welcomed his son in April this year also shared a lovely photograph of his wife Aditi Malik and his son. “Haathi Ghodha Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki! Our Kanha @ekbirmalik bringing so much laughter, giggles, smiles, happiness, naughtiness, and innocence into our lives All of you wanted to see Ekbir and we decided why not, it’s only positivity that comes from you all for him!!! @additemalik,” he added.

Karan Johar shared a video of his mother, Hiroo Johar, on Monday where she is seen in hospital in Mumbai. He called his mother ‘superhero’ and revealed how his mother underwent two major surgeries during the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

In the video, when Karan asked his mother if she has any message to say as she leaves for home. In her response, Hiroo thanked the doctors and hospital for taking care of her.

Also, Hiroo confessed to arguing with the doctors, but they still took care of her. In the video, she gave a little speech to thank the staff and he ended the clip by saying, “And the Oscar goes to…”

KJo revealed that his 79-year-old mother underwent Spinal Fusion Surgery and right knee replacement surgery in the last 8 months.

The producer/director also mentioned that his twins Yash and Roohi are waiting for their grandmother at home with a cake and a song.

“My Mother … My superhero! She has had two massive surgeries in the lockdown…. In the past 8 months… Her Spinal Fusion Surgery ( the brilliance of DR BHOJRAJ) and her right knee replacement ( the Genius of DR MANIAR),” he wrote.

Karan lauded his mother for keeping her spirits up both times. “She endured both surgeries with her indomitable spirit and a sense of humor…. She is nearly 79 but has the spirit and zest for life as a millennial does! I am so so proud of her … I love you so much, Mama! Your babies are waiting at home with a cake and a song,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar is currently seen as a host of Bigg Boss OTT.

After Tokyo Olympics 2020, India is creating history at Paralympics too. Javelin thrower Sumit Antil set a World Record at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics winning another gold medal for India.

Monday (August 30) is a historic day for the entire nation as two para-athletes bagged a gold medal on the same day. Avani Lekhara bagged gold in 10m air rifle standing at the Paralympics.

As Sumit Antil won the gold medal, celebrities including Ajay Devgn,, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Ananya Panday among others took to their social media accounts and congratulated Sumit for his big win.

Ajay Devgn applauded the athletes who have bagged a medal. The actor wrote, “Congratulations to Sumit Antil for a record-breaking golden throw in #Paralympics. Yet another proud moment for all of us. #SumitAntil #TokyoParalympics #Tokyo2020” On the other hand, Akshay who also keeps acknowledging their win on social media, tweeted, “Yet another #Gold for India! Heartiest congratulations #SumitAntil on the record-breaking throw What a brilliant performance. We are so proud of you. #Paralympics #Tokyo2020.”

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and congratulated Sumit Until for his win. He tweeted, “Yet another #Gold for India! Heartiest congratulations #SumitAntil on the record-breaking throw. What a brilliant performance. We are so proud of you. #Paralympics #Tokyo2020.”

Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor wrote, “Another gold for India!! Congratulations #SumitAntil!!! #TokyoParalympics.” Ananya Panday shared a post on her Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, after the win, President Of India, Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, “Sumit Antil’s historic performance in the javelin throw at the #Paralympics is a moment of great pride for the country. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also took to Twitter and wrote, “Our athletes continue to shine at the #Paralympics! The makers of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam shared a new poster of the film on Monday on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.

The poster featuring Prabhas looking at Pooja lovingly while she plays the piano is sure to take your breath away. In the stunning poster, Prabhas looks dapper in a black tuxedo and Pooja looks nothing less than a princess in a blue color ball gown.

Radhe Shyam also features Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chettri, and Kunaal Roy Kapur. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar,
the multilingual project is scheduled to release theatrically nationwide on Makar Sankranti 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Prabhas shared the poster on his Instagram space and captioned it, “Celebrate Janmashtami with this gorgeous poster brought to you by yours truly, #RadheShyam.”

Pooja Hegde, on the other hand, took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Happy Janmashtami from Team Radhe Shyam.”

Director Radha Krishnakumar shared his excitement about Radhe Shyam and said in a statement, “We have left no stone unturned in ensuring that we bring audiences a theatrical experience they won’t forget. Meanwhile, Prabhas has several interesting projects lined up. He will be seen in Salaar and Adipurush. He has also signed a project, alongside Deepika Padukone, which will be directed by Ashwin Nag. Pooja Hegde, on the other hand, has Cirkus, Most Eligible Bachelor, and Acharya in her kitty.

Indian athletes are making the nation proud at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Indian para-athletes such as Vinod Kumar, Devendra Jhajharia, and Bhavinaben Patel won silver medals at the games. Now, shooter Avani Lekhara and discus thrower Yogesh Kathuniya have grabbed gold and silver medal respectively for the country.

Avani became India’s first woman to win gold at the Paralympics. She finished with a Paralympic Record with 249.6 points. She won the gold in the women’s R2 — 10m Air Rifle standing SH1 event.

Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal among others took to social media to congratulate the athletes on achieving this feat.

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram story on Monday morning to congratulate Avani Lekhara on becoming the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the event. Sharing a photo of the shooter, the actor wrote, “Congratulations #AvaniLekhara for hitting the bullseye and creating history by becoming the first Indian woman to win a Paralympics gold medal. What a debut! #Paralympics #Tokyo2020.”

Kriti Sanon has successfully managed to carve out a niche in the Bollywood industry with releases like Housefull 4, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Dilwale, and Luka Chuppi among others. However, things were not easy for her. She had a fair share of struggles in the industry as a newcomer. In a conversation with a media portal, the actress recalled her first runway show saying she messed up the choreography and ended up crying in an auto.

The actress said, “When I did my first ramp show, I remember I messed up somewhere in the choreography and the choreographer was very rude to me. She screamed at me in front of some 20 models at the end of the show. Whenever someone scolds me, I can just start crying like this (snaps fingers).”

“So, I remember sitting in an auto, and the moment I sat, I started crying. I went back home and I cried to my mother. My mother was like, ‘I don’t know if this profession is for you. I don’t. You need to be emotionally way stronger, you need to be a thick-skinned person and you need to be a lot more confident than you are.’ And I think confidence is something that I gained with time,” she added.

PURPLE KISS: Tracklist unwraps for their upcoming album ‘HIDE & SEEK’

PURPLE KISS has unveiled the tracklist of their second mini-album ‘HIDE & SEEK’.  This was done through the official social media handles on August 28th. The mini-album is set to contain six new tracks.  ‘ZOMBIE’ is the title and first track of the album. In addition, ‘2 AM’, ‘Cast pearls before swine, ‘Tears’, ‘Twinkle’ and others are also there.

The tracklist is expected to position PURPLE KISS as a ‘theme doll’ with a great dark theme. The participation in the album by Purple Kiss is also notable.  Reportedly, all members have participated with the lyrics and composition of the tracks. Main rapper Yuki contributed to the lyrics of all the songs in the album.

‘HIDE & SEEK’ is a new album released by PURPLE KISS six months after the release of their debut album ‘INTO VIOLET’. PURPLE KISS has won the title of ‘Balance Doll’ as a complete idol.
