Fans all around are worried as TREASURE’s Doyoung has tested positive for Covid-19 amid the pandemic. Doyoung’s agency, YG Entertainment revealed that he has tested positive and will be taking a break. Here is the whole statement:

We inform you that TREASURE member Doyoung tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 13).
Other TREASURE members besides Doyoung and staff members have all tested negative. There are no additional confirmed cases, but the TREASURE members and staff plan to continue to self-quarantine.
On July 12, in an examination through a COVID-19 self-test kit ahead of an advertisement shoot, Doyoung received a positive result for the first time.
As a result, all TREASURE members and surrounding staff canceled all scheduled activities immediately and received PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests, and Doyoung ultimately tested positive.
We have shared this information with all related personnel in a swift and accurate manner, and we took preemptive measures more intensive than what is advised in the guidelines set by health authorities.
We will continue to prioritize the health of our artists and surrounding staff and provide our full support. We will quickly make an announcement if any changes arise in the future.”
