Mona Singh has announced the wrap-up of her part in the forthcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The film stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. Announcing the wrap-up, Mona shared a video and thanked the teammates. The clip shared is a collection of pictures and videos from the sets of the film, also featuring Aamir and Kiran Rao along with others. We can also see Aamir Khan feeding Mona a piece of cake.
The team of Laal Singh Chaddha shot the film in Kashmir. Recently, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao also met J&K Lt Governor. Now, Mona has shared a clip to say goodbye to her teammates after wrapping up her part for the film. The actress wrote, “And it’s a wrap on ‘Laalsinghchadha’ for me, goodbyes aren’t easy especially when you’ve had such an amazing and magical experience. Thank u team #laalsinghchaddha for so much love,” followed by a heart emoji.
The actress earlier has shared a bunch of pictures from Kashmir on Instagram during the film shoot.
When Kareena Kapoor Khan announced shoot wrap
In October last year, Kareena also announced the wrap of her part in Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress, who was pregnant with her second child back then, shared a snap of herself and Aamir Khan from a farm. She wrote, “And all journeys must come to an end. Today, I wrapped my film Laal Singh Chaddha… tough times… the pandemic, my pregnancy, nervousness but absolutely nothing could stop the passion with which we shot, with all safety measures of course. Thank you @_aamirkhan and @advaitchandan for an intense yet poignant journey… thank you to my most wonderful team @avancontractor, @teasemakeup, @makeupbypompy, @poonamdamania, and the entire crew… @nainas89 you were missed.” She concluded, “Till we cross paths again…”
Meanwhile, coming back to Mona Singh, the actress had earlier collaborated with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor on Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster hit 3 Idiots. Mona essayed the role of Mona Shahastrabuddhe, Kareena Kapoor’s elder sister in the film.
Directed by Advait Chandan and co-produced by Kiran Rao, Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of Forrest Gump. The film was earlier scheduled to release on Christmas last year. However, it was delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. The film is now scheduled for release on December 25, 2021.
