The much-anticipated film ‘Kaaval,’ starring Suresh Gopi, has finally been given a release date. The film will be released on November 25th, as promised, on huge screens. Suresh Gopi announced the wonderful news on his social media account, and the superstar’s followers are already going crazy!
Suresh Gopi wrote in the microblogging site Twitter, “Welcoming you all back to movies with our #Kaaval, guarding the theatres from November 25th 2021.”
Nithin Renji Panicker is the director of ‘Kaaval.’ Nithin makes his directing debut with this flick. He made his debut with the song ‘Kasaba,’ which featured Mammootty in the main role.
Suresh Gopi’s starring ‘Kaaval’ is intended to resurrect the traditional appeal of Suresh Gopi films. “Kaaval is a film that Suresh Gopi is at ease with. The character also has a cliché of making a return, which is interesting. In Kaval, there are aspects that his fans in the 1990s enjoyed to see. Also, in the film, he plays a younger version of himself, between the ages of 55 and 60,” Nithin Renji Panicker previously stated in an interview with Kochi Times. The film ‘Kaaval’ is described as an action thriller.
Meanwhile, the creators of ‘Kaaval’ have stated that the film would not be released on OTT platforms. According to rumours, the filmmakers were given a large sum of money by a prominent OTT site for a direct debut, but they declined and opted to wait for the cinemas to reopen.
The news of the release date for this big-ticket blockbuster has boosted the entertainment industry’s expectations that movie theatres would reclaim their former splendour.
