BTS’ Jimin is in the limelight ever since he started his K-pop journey. Yet another reason that Jimin is being pulled into the limelight is that he is celebrating his 27th birthday. And as always, he is doing it in the best way possible.
Jimin ringed in his 27th birthday by making generous donations in the name of goodwill. He made a memorable donation to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation of over ₩100 million KRW (about $83,500 USD). This helped Jimin to join the Green Noblesse Club, which is only reserved for a special group of people.
The Green Noblesse Club officially announced and welcomed Jimin into their club. The official statement did not reveal how much Jimin exactly donated but it is surely a sizeable one.
Newsen conducted an interview and found out that Jimin donated the money as a way to repay all the love that he has received as an idol. The Green Noblesse Club is an exclusive group of high-value donors, who have donated over ₩100 million KRW (about $83,500 USD) to the organization over 5 years or less.
The new member who joined this exclusive club was Soloist Chungha in 2021. In the past, TVXQ’s Changmin had joined in 2018 while BTS’ J-Hope has entered in 2019. Now, Jimin is in the exclusive club.
