A big congratulation to boys!! Another achievement for one of the famous K-Pop bands BTS. On 19th February, the British Phonographic Industry announced that BTS’ “You Never Walk Alone” album has received an official silver BRIT certification. Recently, one of their music albums “Map of the Soul: Persona” won a gold certification.
Recently, along with BTS, other famous K-Pop bands such as BLACKPINK and Psy have also earned a song certification by BPI.
“You Never Walk Alone” whopping achievements: Released in February 2017 and was the third best-selling album of the same year in South Korea. As per BPI standards, albums are certified silver at 60,000 units sold and singles are certified silver at 200,000 units sold.
This one becomes BTS’ 8th album to receive the silver certification in the UK. Prior to this, their music albums such as “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever,” “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Love Yourself: Her,” and “Face Yourself” have won silver certification and therefore, BTS band becomes the only K-Pop band to receive full albums certified by BPI.
