Spider-Man No Way Home to break Avatar’s huge box office record

Spider-Man: No Way Home is on its way to set the new box office record. The film released in December last year and has continued to break box office records. Since its release date on 16th December, the film is grabbing more and more attention of the fans and doing exceptionally good. Even the trailer of the film was very well received and the fans were super excited.

No Way Home is all set to almost overtake the record of Avatar at the domestic (North American) box office. Avatar’s North American collection stands at $760 mn, and No Way Home traces it at $748.9 mn. However, Avatar’s total collection includes its rerelease earnings too. Without that it stands at $749.8, just $1 mn more than Spidey movie.

However, ‘No Way Home’ is quite far from the record of ‘Avatar’. The movie maintains its No. 1 rank of all time worldwide after earning $2.84 billion. For a short period of time, it was passed up by Marvel ‘Avengers: Endgame’ until its re-release in China last year.

Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, Spider-Man No Way Home is American superhero film, released in December 2021. The film was jointly produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. Sony Pictures Releasing distributed the film. This movie is a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the director of the film is Jon Watts. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Benedict Wong, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire.
