Tiger Shroff is now preparing for the premiere of Heropanti 2, his forthcoming flick. The film is a sequel to the same-named romantic-action film from 2014. Tiger said in a new interview that he wants to play a superhero in Hollywood. Tiger Shroff is the son of renowned actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff. Krishna Shroff, his younger sister, is his only sibling. Krishna had previously reacted to the teaser for Heropanti 2 by stating, “Time to get your a— to Hollywood, brother.”
Tiger revealed in a new interview with Bollywood Hungama that his ambition is to work in Hollywood. “There is a hole in terms of a youthful action hero in the West,” he explained. There isn’t an action hero in my age bracket, and perhaps not in the genres I work in. That was something we used to see in the 1990s. Since then, unless it’s Spider-Man or something, it’s been a long time since you’ve seen someone with that skill set representing action or the type of action I do. But ultimately, getting into that environment and trying my luck in the West is my ambition.”
“I’ve been offered a couple of times,” he continued. I’ve tried and failed a few times in auditions, but I’m still going for it. So, let’s see what happens.”
Heropanti 2 co-stars Tara Sutaria in the major role and stars Tiger Woods as Babloo, who will be pitted against Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Laila in an attempt to stop cybercrime throughout the world. The film will be released on April 29, 2022, and was written by Rajat Arora and directed by Ahmed Khan.
Ganapath is also in the works for Tiger. The film, directed by Vikas Bahl, will also feature Kriti Sanon and Elli AvrRam.
