BCCI is planning to kickstart the first edition of the Women’s Premier League in style. The WPL will have an anthem to begin with, that has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan.
The BCCI has also informed us that among the Bollywood stars, Kiara Advani, Kirti Sanon and singer AP Dhillon will be performing. The ceremony will be hosted at the DY Patil Stadium on 4th March ahead of the first match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.
The opening ceremony is expected to last for about 30 to 45 minutes. The gorgeous Kiara and Kirti will be grooving to some peppy Bollywood songs.
Kiara recently tied the knot with actor Siddharth Malhotra and is back to work after a short break. The actress is sure to have the crowd spellbound by her performances. She has a couple of projects up her sleeve. She is filming RC 15 with Ram Charan and Satyaprem ki Kahani along with Karthik Aryan.
BCCI’s online ticketing partners are Book My show and PAYTM. Tickets start from just Rs 100 for all 200 matches taking place in Mumbai. Jio Cinema will live stream the matches for free.
