The entire India is on cloud nine and is celebrating the big victory this Oscars!! Guneet Monga’s production ‘The Elephant Whispers’ and the RRR song Naatu Naatu has broken all records.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi congratulates team RRR and tweeted, “Exceptional! The popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global. It will be a song that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations to @mmkeeravaani, @boselyricist and the entire team for this prestigious honor. India is elated and proud.”

RRR won several accolades including a Golden Globes award in January where the song won the ‘best original song’ title. The song is one of the most memorable sequences from the Telugu-language action epic film RRR and its tune and choreography deserve an applause.

In another tweet, PM Modi congratulated the entire team of the Tamil documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’, as it won the ‘best documentary short film’ at the 95th Academy Awards.

He tweeted, “Congratulations to @EarthSpectrum, @guneetm and the entire team of ‘The Elephant Whispers’ for this honour. Their work wonderfully highlights the importance of sustainable development and living in harmony with nature.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Instagram to reveal his feelings on the win. He share a collage of RRR and the Elephant Whispers and wrote, “Paving the way like legends…so proud and ecstatic…big shout out to both the teams.”

Meanwhile, Everything Everywhere All At Once was named the best picture. It dominated the Oscars night winning 7 awards including best picture, best actress, best director, best editing, best supporting actor and actress and best original screenplay.

The Oscars were held in Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre and were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
