- LACK OF SLEEP- lack of sleep prevents you from concentration and can severely impact your cognitive habits. If you sleep less, you become slow. Your decision making and problem-solving capacity is hampered. Make sure you get 8 to 10 hours of rest.
- THE FOOD WE EAT- compare a day in your life with only junk food visa a vis a day of healthy, home cooked food. The energy and vitality a healthy diet provides you is no match for that packet of chips or candy. Your body will thank you.
- SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE- If you sit for a longer period of time, the more tired you feel. The rest that we so call it, can often lead to sluggishness. Try to take a short walk every hour. The more you move, the more oxygen in your body, the better your energy.
- CHECK YOUR SCREEN TIME- the more time you spend on your screen, the more distracted you will be. Create time zones for the time on your phone, Netflix or any social media. Try and set boundaries.
- CONSTANT MULTITASKING- The ability to juggle various tasks is great but can be exhausting at the same time. When you do too much at one time, the mind stays confused and you loose focus.
