BTS Jungkook’s ‘Euphoria’ qualifies for RIAA Gold Certification in US

South Korean boy band BTS member Jeon Jungkook’s single “Euphoria” released in 2018.  Over  500,000 units were sold in the US, making “Euphoria” the first solo song by a Korean musician. Now, this would be the first BTS solo song to be worthy of RIAA Gold Certification in the US.

The band’s fanbase, also known as the Army, is euphoric over the achievement.  The fans are going all out to celebrate the success of Jeon Jungkook.  Social media has an overwhelming number of hashtags including GoldenEuphoria500K.

The netizens are whole-heartedly dropping congratulatory messages for the 23-year-old singer, writer, and composer.  Ever since the news of the nomination for the RIAA Gold Certification came out, Jungkook has been trending on Twitter.

Lately, the boy band BTS has been in a good bit of limelight. The solo song “Euphoria” by Jungkook is a masterpiece. The record-setter song is dominating music discussion in India on Twitter like never before.  The popularity of “Euphoria” supersedes “Never Not” by the same artist of the K-pop group.  In the year 2020 “Never Not” was the most Retweeted music in India.  Apart from this song, BTS in general dominated the music conversation on social media platforms.
