Bollywood actor Govinda confirmed on Thursday (April 8) that he has tested negative for novel corona virus. The actor took social media to share his health update.
Taking it to Instagram, he shared a boomerang video and wrote along, “Apun aa gayela hain! #testednegative.” In the video the actor can be seen in striped t-shirt paired with white colored paints.
Govinda was tested positive earlier this week (April 4) as he had mild symptoms and was under home quarantine. “I have been taking all the necessary precautions to keep corona virus away, but I have tested positive today. All the other family members have tested negative. My wife (Sunita) has just recovered from Covid-19 few weeks back”, he stated.
Bollywood celebrities namely Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Kartina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Fatima Sana Shaikh among others have recently tested positive for the deadly virus.
In particular, Maharashtra state has witnessed massive rise in the last 15 days. The state is under partial lockdown and also under weekend lockdown and night curfew is being imposed earlier this week. As of now, the restrictions will remain till April 30.
