This is the second year that the President has selected BTS — RM. Jin. J-Hope. Jimin. Suga. V. and Jungkook. They had gone to the President’s official home, Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House), for their appointment ceremony.
As reported by the Blue House, the Bangtan Boys will begin their duties as the “special presidential envoy for future generations and culture” during the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. At the second Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Decade of Action summit, BTS and President Moon attended together on Monday.
According to the Blue House, BTS’s presence at the UN General Assembly this year will serve as an important chance to enhance contact with future generations throughout the world and attract their sympathies on major international issues.
BTS will collaborate with Coldplay on their new track, My Universe, which will be released later this year. Release date for the track is set for September 24. BTS won three MTV Video Music Awards in the categories of best group, song of the summer, and best K-pop.
