The most talked about, awaited movie is all set to hit the movie halls on August 11th. Aamir Khan took out some time off the movie promotions schedule and went to visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday along with his co-star Mona Singh, who plays the role of his mother in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie is said to be an official remake of the Hollywood movie, Forrest Gump which stars Tom Hanks in the lead role.
Aamir is seen sporting a casual look whereas Mona is wearing a traditional pink suit. Earlier the two had also visited the National War Memorial in Delhi.
The surprise element in the movie is that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo appearance in the movie. When questioned how this occurred, “Well Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him I needed someone who will represent what Elvis Presley represented in America. I need the biggest iconic star of India, which is why I am coming to you.” He was really sweet and said, “Yes.”
Aamir Khan’ s movies trailer was unveiled during the IPL 2022 finale and netizens have showered praises for it.
The 57-year-old actor said a day before the event, “I am really nervous about the release. I have not slept for 48 hours…My brain is in overdue. I play chess online, read books to keep myself busy. I guess I can only sleep after 11th August. I believe both Advait Chandan and I will sleep like a log post the release of the film.”
