Following the release of the Vishnuvardhan film Shershaah, the principal actors
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani garnered attention for their on- and off-
screen relationship. In fact, directors rushed to bring the two on for future projects
after discovering how much the audience enjoyed the movie. One such project
was the eccentric movie with the working title of Adal Badal, which focused on
the idea of soul transference. Sid and Kiara had read the concept note and were
quite enthused by the movie's concept. But as of late, we've heard that the
aforementioned movie is having issues.
The insider revealed specifics to Bollywood Hungama, saying, "Yes, Sidharth
Malhotra and Kiara Advani were really eager to shoot the project. They were both
interested in Adal Badal's peculiar notion, but nothing more came of it. Neither of
the two actors agreed to appear in the movie due to certain creative issues.
Another individual with direct knowledge of the situation, however, has a different
account to provide. In contrast to the rumour that the movie has been shelved,
the source says that neither Kiara Advani nor Sidharth Malhotra has ever
approved the idea. "Kiara and Sid were both contacted with the proposal, and
they loved the notion," the insider further explains. Like a premise, signing a film
is not a given, though. In actuality, none of the two performers had ever given the
project their approval before they showed interest in it.
Speaking further about the movie, the insider reveals that Sunir Khetrapal is
presently working on Adal Badal. "Sunir Khetrapal has been working on the
project for about a year and is supporting it. Since a lot of work has gone into
building up the film, ideally he will continue working on it. If you inquire about the
lead couple, the insider replies, "That has to be publicized once decided." The
insider reiterates that Kiara and Sid are not associated with the initiative in order
to conclude.
