Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, stars of the hit television show Friends, may end up together, much as their sitcom characters of Ross and Rachel they portrayed on the show. According to rumours, the duo has been in more contact and spending a lot of time together at Jennifer’s LA home since they shot the Friends reunion episode, and they have become much closer than they have ever been.
An insider told UK’s Closer magazine that since the reunion, it’s become evident that reminiscing about the past has reawakened sentiments for both of them, and that the chemistry they’d always had to hide was still there. Somewhere the duo still had feelings for each other, and now it seems like they are coming closer. According to the insider, the two began texting shortly after filming for the reunion episode, and they have come so close that last month David travelled from his home in New York to see the actress in Los Angeles. The purported couple has also been preparing dinners together, going long walks together, and spending quality time together, according to the insider.
Earlier in May, both stars admitted and disclosed to host James Corden that they had a secret crush on one other when portraying Rachel Green and Ross Geller on the show. During the reunion, the couple, who portrayed the much-loved on-screen lovers from 1994 to 2004, said that they had to channel their affections for one another through their roles because the timing was never right to pursue anything offscreen.
