Zoya Akhtar’s latest directorial venture, ‘The Archies’, based on the comics, released on the 7th December and there has been a constant chatter about the star kids that have made their debut.

Notably, several people have liked the music and the story yet there are others, for whom this has been a let-down. Director Farah Khan has been seen liking a video that mocks the actors for their performances. Also, she had not attended the premiere of the film. Farah Khan also has not been seen posting any congratulatory messages for the kids nor the director.

Recently, Raveena Tandon had accidentally liked a review post that mocked the debutants of the film. Later, she issued a public apology to the team of the movie and said, “Touch buttons and social media. A genuine mistake has been blown out of proportion. The like was made in error and something I was not even aware of that had been pressed scrolling. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hurt it may have caused.”

I have seen ‘The Archies’. A good effort to recreate Riverdale, the dresses and the story but I think we have all moved ahead with times and Riverdale is a thing of the past. I saw it with the remote in my hand and the endless songs had me bored, yet a great attempt by the star Kids Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda.
