On the latest episode of Navya Nanda’s ‘What the Hell Navya’, a podcast on you-tube, Agastya Nanda was the new guest in the house, along with Jaya Bachchan and mom Shweta Bachchan.
The talk was an open conversation about the shift in the role of men, their skincare and male vulnerability. Agastya talked openly about going ‘through a bad phase’ and religion helped him overcome it.
He openly talked about male masculinity. He said, “I believe you should embrace both your masculine and feminine sides and show emotions. I show emotion, I am in touch with my feminine side. I believe in a healthy balance of both. I’ve never been told not to show emotions, so I don’t think it’s wrong.”
He revealed that while working on The Archies, he turned towards spirituality. He said, “We’re so used to getting things in an instant that it’s easy to lose faith. It came naturally to me, I became religious and spiritual. When I started acting, I didn’t know if people would like me. So, I did my best and left the rest to God, to keep faith in something beyond me.”
These podcasts are a good influence, I have seen all 4 episodes and the conversation is informative, from talking to skincare regime, to emotional and mental health, it’s nice to see the stars we can relate with, to talk openly about such things.
