Recently the makers of Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi revealed the release date of the film. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. The movie recently made headlines for its new release date. It stars Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film is going to hit the theatres on February 25 and the trailer of the film will be releasing tomorrow, February 4.

Featuring Alia Bhatt in the main role, Gangubai Kathiawad is a biographical crime drama, based on the life of a real sex worker mentioned in the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S. Hussain Zaidi. The film depicts a story of Ganga who was sold into prostitution by her suitor and later how she becomes the prominent figure in the underworld and also renowned madam of her brother in red-light area.
Alia is portraying the story of Gangubai Kathiawadi and looks promising in the character. Talking about Alia’s performances, the actress has proved her versatile acting skills in previous films.
