Ajay Devgn directorial Bholaa has had a good weekend. This action-thriller also starring Tabu earned Rs. 11.20 crore on the first day, Rs. 7.40 crore on day 2, Rs. 12.01 crore on day 3 and Rs. 14 crore on its fourth day.
Bholaa is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil hit movie Kathi. Along with Tabu and Ajay Devgn, the film stars Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal among others in central roles.
The movie is the story of an ex-convict, who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught in a face-off between the police and the drug mafia.
This movie marks Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial venture, the film has decent reviews. Even though the IPL season is on, yet the movie has pulled the crowd. This high frequency action film will keep you on the edge. It has nail-biting action sequences, gripping gunfights and several hand combats.
Ajay Devgn has done an excellent job as he directs the film. Tabu is a convincing cop who will go to any length to do her duty well. I wish there were more twists and turns in the plot. Cameo played by Abhishek Bachchan and Amala Paula make the movie interesting and are raw additions to Bhola than the original movie ‘Kathi’.
The movie will keep the adrenaline rushing. With the Good Friday weekend coming and Mahavir Jayant holiday, the revenue for the movie is sure to increase and pull more crowd.
