Akshay Kumar visited Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, June 17 to meet the jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF).

On his trip to Jammu and Kashmir,  Akshay Kumar has also donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of a school building in the Bandipora district. He donated the amount after he visited Neeru village on Thursday afternoon.

The actor posed for pictures with the jawans and also danced with them. Apart from this,  Akshay also paid his respects to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Akshay shared some of the pictures from his visit and wrote, “Spent a memorable day with the @bsf_india Bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience meeting the real heroes. My heart is filled with nothing but respect.”

What’s on the work front?

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar’s film Bell Bottom is all set to hit theatres on July 27. The spy thriller film also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in prominent roles.

The actor will also be seen in Suryavanshi,  Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, Atrangi Re, and Ram Setu.
