Almost Pyar With DJ Mohobbat, has two different love stories revealing themselves. The stories take place in Dalhousie and London. The musical, scored by Amit Trivedi will release in theatres on 3rd February.
The teaser begins with Alaya F playing a school student who is in love with Karan. The movie had its premiere at the Marrakech Film Festival. He states, “The story of the film has taken shape over the years with my conversations with my daughter and the GenZ, and to realize how our set beliefs and conditioning affect them. To realize that we are migrants to the world, and they are a native too. This feels like a new inning, and I am happy that it’s starting with this film.”
Anurag has ventured into romance after long. He last made ‘Dobara’ starring Tapasee Pannu which is a remake of a Spanish movie ‘Mirage’.
The trailer suggests that this is a complete romantic movie with twists and villans. The families are not happy, and the lovers elope. The movie is an insight to “modern day young relationships and their exploration in a world plagued with prejudices, predatory behavior and the unwillingness from older generations in their acceptance.”
The movie has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate and it looks like old wine showcased in a fancy bottle. Lets wait and watch.
