On a cold winter noon, with the temperature so low, Farah Khan had the women of FICCI FLO, LUDHIANA in high spirits with her charm and wit.

All geared up for a tete-a tete with the Chairperson Ankita Sharma and past Chairperson, Neha Gupta, Farah gave us an insight into her childhood, her journey of being a choreographer, director and producer.

Talking about her father, she narrated the incident where on a Friday the fate of her family had a major shift. When the movie released on Friday and it bombed at the box-office, by Sunday, they had major financial losses and this event took a toll on their lives. She recounted the incident when Saroj Khan was unable to come for the shooting of ‘Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander’ and the choreography for the same landed in her lap and with this, she got substantial recognition among the top directors and masses.

Giving her insights about life, she told the girls, don’t take success and failure seriously, they both shall pass, have the ability to let go and stand up amidst all challenges.

On a lighter note, when quizzed in the rapid fire, who would she like to go for lunch/ dinner with, her outright reply was Shah Rukh Khan or Tom Cruise. When asked what Indian spice would best describe her, she replied candidly, “garam masala.” Replying to what her autobiography will be called, she said with jest, “Picture abhi baaki hai” and the audience had a hearty laugh.

Towards the end, she grooved to the songs “Sheila ki jawaani” and “muni badnam hui” with the ladies and it was an electrifying noon. She was vivacious, humble and humorous.
