Vinod Channa, is widely renowned in the fitness field. Stars such as Kareena Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, John Abraham and others have been training with him. He is the one who transformed Anant Ambani in 2016.

Vinod believes that people stress too much about losing weight and want to copy the celebs or their favorite stars, and follow celebrity trends. He strongly suggests, “For instance, start by reducing your food intake by half and observe the positive changes. Next, add 20-30 minutes daily walk to your routine. As you progress, consider cutting down from four meals a day to three. Once, you reach your desired goal, gradually reintroduce healthy carbs, proteins and fibers. Don’t forget to include workouts to maintain your weight loss journey.”

As per Vinod, keto and intermittent fasting, are temporary solutions, not long term. According to him, intermittent fasting, where you skip meals for a certain period, is good, but not something you should do forever. The bodies get used to the routines we follow.

As for Keto, it involves eating a lot of Omega 3 fats. He advises once you see the changes, resort to healthy lifestyle in a controlled manner. He also believes totally giving up carbs is a big no-no. lastly, the role of good sleep cannot be undermined. He says, “Sleep is important for recovery, and even though the body might not show immediate signs, it can wear out over time.”
