Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor’s Woh Saat Din released has completed 38 years of release. The actor took to social media today to recall his Bollywood journey. The actor starred opposite Padmini Kolhapure in Woh Saat Din. The cast also featured Naseeruddin Shah, Raju Shrestha, and Satish Kaushik in prominent roles.
Anil Kapoor took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to look back on his journey as his film Woh Saat Din clocked in 38 years of its release. He shared a monochromatic still and shared a note in Hindi on Instagram. The post is translated as, “It’s been 38 years since Woh Saat Din released. And in these 38 years, you all put me on the pinnacle of success. Just keep giving me your love like this for the next 38 years. I will try to stay on this peak with my hard work and your love. Thank you!”
Last year, when Woh Saat Din clocked 37 years of release, the actor penned a long note on sharing his journey of ups and downs in his career. Sharing stills of the film on Instagram, he wrote, “Got so involved in my work today as usual as I always look forward and not at the past .. but still, there are some milestones in your life you should not forget…#37YearsOfWoh7Din, 37 years of being a star actor, always been tradeable, accessible, working and making choices… good…bad…great…sometimes even if they might not have seemed right at the time but have always stood the test of time.”
“Started as an actor, become a star…superstar according to the trade….then a flop star…rose as a star again…international star…supporting actor….evergreen star and the list goes on… labels never really mattered to me nor did I ever take them seriously…I have always been aware of my talent & caliber…just wanted to feed my love and hunger for work…37 years later it’s still the same and hopefully by the grace of the almighty will continue to remain the same…A Big Thank You to all my fans, filmmakers, co-actors & crews that I have worked with…. and of course my family for being my backbone,” the actor penned.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be seen next in Jug Jugg Jeeyo along with Neetu Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Varun Dhawan. He also has Animal and Takht in the pipeline.
