The actress is currently filming the reboot of the hit show Pavitra Rishta, with Shaheer Sheikh replacing the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the role of Manav. She has now posted a photo of herself wearing a blue sari, which she wore during the first season in 2014.
Ankita took to Instagram Stories to show two photos of herself with the caption, “Same saree, same me.” Only the passage of time has changed.” The first photo, taken in 2014, shows her with her hair in a loose bun. Her hair is let free in lovely curls in the new photo.
Ankita recently released a video in which she appeared as her character, Archana. “Dear Archu, it’s been 12 years that we’ve been together,” she wrote to her character. It’s been an emotional road with many ups and downs in both of our lives, but we’ve come out stronger than ever… What I’ve learned from you is to be patient and to always believe in giving love no matter what life throws at you.
I recall the day I met you for the first time. You were both nervous and confident, and I must say you look the same. Many things have changed since that day, but my love for Archu remains the same since I truly have a Pavitra rishta with her and with all of you who have loved Archana Deshmukh. Thank you to everyone who has unconditionally loved Archu and Ankita. I pray that Archu and I never disappoint anyone. I’ll be forever thankful.
