Bollywood celebrity Anushka Sharma recently turned 33 and thanked everyone for birthday wishes. The actress announced that she and husband Virat would begin a “movement” to fight the surge of COVID-19 in India.

Anushka took to her official Instagram account to make an announcement in a video, where she thanked her fans for wishes and messages on her 33rd birthday on Sunday but said she “didn’t feel right” celebrating her birthday when the country was in such a painful situation.

She made an announcement in the video that she and her husband would soon launch a movement to help the COVID-19 crisis.

She said “Virat and I are coming together to do our bit, we will share details soon so that you can also become a part of this movement. Stay safe and take care,”

Virat Kohli is currently leading the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore. The team had also announced on Sunday that they would provide financial help to contribute for infrastructure related to oxygen support in India.
