Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli never miss an opportunity to shower their love and admiration for each other. Anushka and Virat shot an advertisement together where the former can be seen planning a surprise birthday for the latter.
At midnight, when Virat sleeps, Anushka gets up to take the birthday cake out of the fridge. As she opens the drawer, it breaks, and she thuds on the floor and the noise wakes up Virat. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “I always used to think throwing surprises is like a cakewalk..Until these faulty interiors ruined my big surprise! Don’t let poor quality fittings take a toll on your special days! Cake it easy with @livspace.”
The actress posted a series of ROFL pictures of Virat and joked she chose his “best angels”. She writes, “It’s your birthday my love, so obviously, I chose your best angels and photos from this post. Love you in every state and form and way.” In one picture, there’s a close up of his face and in another, he is holding baby Vamika in his arms.
Over the past weeks, Virat has been busy with his cricket tournaments and Anushka has been shooting for her upcoming sports film ‘Chakda Xpress’. This movie marks the return of Anushka to acting after 4 years. Married in the year 2017, the two welcomed their daughter in 2021. Chakda Xpress is based on the life of Jhulan Goswami, who became the second cricketer to receive the Padma Shri in 2012.
