Aparshakti Khurana and his wife Aakriti Khurana welcomed their first child, a baby girl on Friday. Aparshakti shared the good news with his fans and followers on social media. In his post, he also revealed the name of their newborn daughter.
Sharing the happy news on his official Instagram handle, he wrote, “Aakriti and Aparshakti welcome with love Arizoe A Khurana born August 27, 2021,” wrote alongside heart emojis.
The comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages. Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mrunal Thakur, and Sanya Malhotra, among many others celebs dropped congratulatory messages for the new parents. While several others appreciated their daughter’s name and labeled it as ‘cool’.
Aparshakti’s brother and actor Ayushmann Khurrana also shared the post on his Instagram stories and wrote, “A new member in the fam. Best feeling.”
On June 4, the couple had announced Aakriti’s pregnancy with an Instagram post. Sharing a black-and-white picture of them, Aparshakti wrote, “Lockdown me kaam to expand ho nahi paya, humne socha family hi expand kar lete hain (We could not expand our work during the lockdown so we decided to expand our family instead) #preggeralert.”
Earlier, Aakriti shared the pictures from her baby shower. ”I have no clue why he’s looking so stunned on a doing of his own making. #BabyShower,” she wrote alongside her post.
Aparshakti and Aakriti tied the knot in September 2014. On the work front, Aparshakti will be soon seen alongside Pranutan Bahl in ZEE5’s original Helmet.
