The worldwide video streaming service Paramount+ will offer the Korean crime-thriller series Bargain in the upcoming year.

The series will be made accessible for streaming on Paramount+ at some point in 2023, according to a statement published earlier today (November 4) by Paramount and Korean streaming provider TVING. The last three episodes of the show were now made available for viewing on TVING (November 4).

Two Korean games are coming to the platform, and one of them is called Bargain. Both businesses declared earlier this year that Yonder, a sci-fi K-drama, will also be streamable on Paramount+. Besides Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, the series will be distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, and a specific release date for Paramount+ is anticipated in the coming weeks.

The six-part thriller Bargain is set in a rural hotel where people come to conduct shady deals. People are stranded in the motel after an unexpected earthquake strikes the neighbourhood, and the survivors must figure out how to survive.

The series is based on the same-titled, critically acclaimed short film directed by Jun Woo-sung, who was also a member of the original short’s production crew. Cheap actors from Money Heist include Jin Seon-kyu of Extreme Job and Jun Jong-seo of Korea – Joint Economic Area.

Other K-drama news: Over the last week, Under The Queen’s Umbrella was one of the top 10 non-English series watched on the site. With a total of 8.01 million hours watched, Netflix’s most recent K-drama entry claimed the tenth position in the non-English section of the streaming service’s Global Top 10 list. Since its platform debut last month, this is the first time the series has made the top 10 list.
